another question

as you are probly now aware the 2.2 frounti we bought engine went bang , now my dilemer is this , at the moment the car stands me at £900 with the repairs so far done, do you think it is viable now to replace the 2.2 petrol with another 2.2 , and do I have to use a frountera engin or is a vectra engin the same or 2.2 cav oh and a big ps i have to get some one else to do the work , what is our cheepest option
