why were the???????

why are the heater matrix behind the dash???surely it would be easier & not impossible to mount them in the engine bay,dont you think??????????

When Vx made them they where the 1st thing bolted on inside. Doesn't matter to them that its a right **** of a job to replace because they aren't going to be replacing them....
