Anyone have problems with their central locking freezing up in cold weather
At work 3am this morning, I went out to the car park to get something out of the back of the car, there was ice on the windows but no really that bad
The rear doors wouldn't unlock, the door button only came up about halfway, and still wouldn't release by hand.
I tried with the engine off and on, I also opened the rear windows in case they were somehow fouling the locking mechanism (doubted both sides would be affected by that)
After I drove home this mornig with the heater on full blast, everything worked fine, got out of bed about an hour ago and it still works fine
Anybody else had a similar experience, or can offer a solution.
I thought about spraying the entire door linkages and locks (inside and out) with WD40 to see if this would help the problem, as it must be mechanical rather than electronic

It does happen lol
A couple of weeks ago the ice was so bad it held the window into the frame and the runners ran down, then the window followed a few seconds later, I then had to put the glass back on the runners.
Ive now silicone sprayed around the frame and seal lol
