Few pics from today, nothing very exciting as its not easy taking your own pics whilst dropping down the side of hills, John will tell you I gave my little truck abit of a work out today :lol:

Couple of mine, towbar electrics took a hammering today.

Had to drive home with no air filter as it got a little damp after taking advice from John as to where not to drive (turned out to be the other track, didn't it John :twisted:

) Think he has some pics of that little incident, had to park on a side slope to drain the interior out abit.

Well I didn't go in there, but my filter got wet too......noticed a lack of power on the way home......Thought those puddles had got deeper this time :oh yer:

And th e wife won't let me use the microwave to dry it out ......dunno why

I managed to catch Halfords before they closed and got ripped off for a new one. Has she seen the scratch yet ?

It isn't scratched .....................honest dear :roll:

It was at this point I decided to abandon ship :lol:

It actually took TWO surfs to pull us out.....Jim looking

I think thats the lot.....busy day.....The stuck Surfs didn't want to be rescued by a Fronty, but they nearly had to be :lol:

Didn't realise you took so many pics John. I did rescue one surf on my own, but as you say, it takes two smurfs to rescue a fronty :lol:

looks like a great day im even more gutted now!!!! wish i could have gone whens the next one down there???

Richard will be arranging another meet down there shortly for the Surfs, but all will be very welcome I'm sure.

I wont be arranging another one in the near future, got the Plains run in October to get through.....we now have three additional places for that, thanks to Woodzie, When I hear anything from Richard I'll post it here for anyone wishing to join in

glad you and jim had a good time i will get more stuck in next time as you know my crankshaft pulley was making a hell of a noise by the time i left it took me two and a half hours to get home as i took it really steady hopefully i should have it repaired by wednesday night so i should be back to my good old self and looking forward to the plains in october!!!!!

Nice one Shaun, glad you got home ok. Having to give my starter motor a tap in the mornings as it is sticking after the bath I gave it, have to whip it off at some point for a clean.
