Affraid not Rick. The finer details are out of my hands as I do not know the plains at all, which is why the local surf boys are helping out. I like to have things sorted well in advance so will keep on keeping on :D

Just a quick question,

I take it the byeways are boat roads on the plains, and therefore there would be no problem with the dog coming with us??

Can anyone who is in the know confirm this for me as i know the MOD are funny about stuff like that??!!!

Not sure on that Rick, can't see it being a problem though. I will ask the :?: on the surf site and see what they say.

Ok, dogs are alright if under close control (unexploded things).

http://www.wanderlustonline.com/plains.JPG This is the meeting point, map ref: su11994 42367. It is a byway next to the carpark at stonehenge so just look for a pile of stones  10am start so 9.30 would be the meet time to aim for.
The guys are going to check the routes but have already said it is going to be gooooeeeey

Can those on the list comfirm they can still make it just in case we have any gaps to fill.

Hello All, reading your comments on the Brachunky Appeal Day it is such shame i cannot go cos im a complete beginner in laning, but i will say you are gonna love it down on Salisbury Plain as i used to live down there at Larkhill Camp. You may have to go and ask the local MOD out there, and watch out for the Red and Yellow Flags!! cos u might end up meeting a rather large tank.

there are so many places to go laning up there heading out to a pub called The Bustard, if i wasn't working I'd be their :(

have fun, Ch3f
