Would Anyone Be Intrested In Doing......

Postby colley on Thu Aug 02, 2012 10:15 pm

This next year or something similar :?:

http://www.xtrallusion.com/Adventure/x/4x4_by_Ref_1.html

I fancy the winter one which £456 for 5 days including accommodation and meals. I know its a bit expensive if there is more then one person in your truck but could look at doing something similar on our own. The summer one would be lot cheaper if we camped
What do people think :?:

If we had enough interest say 10 trucks, i am sure we could negotiate a lot better price
I was thinking about making it a proper holiday and sending 10 days out there including traveling. I was thinking about spending a day in monaco and from there start the journey home stopping off at Milan as they have great motor museums. And from there make are way back though the alps on our return leg home.

I have have also looked into trip across Norway and seeing the northern lights 8)

I would donate a testicle to get on a road trip, Ive been on some adventures but not a proper big road trip abroad, at least when I am driving :(

So, as I am skint (bloody kids) who requires a left testicle? (used...sorry)

Seriously the best adventures are not from over strict schedules but point your mind and just go 8)

Hi mate
I've got a similar plan and some routes in Italy, France and Andorra / Spain
Lets have a chat about it in Wales in 2 weeks
I would prefer a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Sound like a plan gary

Been looking at this further regarding pricing if we did this trip without a guided tour. We can get the eurostar for about £100 return and also found some nice accommodation

http://images.ownersdirect.co.uk/les-deux-alpes-home-french-rentals-fire-area-through-to-dining-room-2192051.jpg

This is located in Venosc and can be hired for £180 each including breakfast for six nights 8)
Would make a nice base.
