If it the top seal on the tailgate you need, or the one that goes around the whole boot opening?

Hi, don't know if you guys can help ... but never know if I don't ask.

Only ever had one key fob for my 'B' 2.2i petrol RS sport.

Now it's recently ceased operating the alarm/immobiliser enable/disable. Bought a repair kit off of ebay (I can solder). Unfortunately, with new microswitch on the pcb and new battery fitted ... absolutely nothing. Still doesn't operate the enable/disable function.

I don't enjoy driving with the alarm blaring and hazards flashing ... do you have a solution for this (e.g. replacement key fob + receiver I can get fitted ... and cheaper than paying the local Vauxhall dealer up to £150 for a new key fob)?

If so, could you and would you accept a set of spare 5 x 16" 5-spoke alloy wheels, as taken from an "A" (4 wheels only, one with a good tyre), in part or full payment?

Or can you tell me how to disable the alarm and immobiliser while I save up for a new dealer-supplied key?

Top intercooler hose
The later A series dash clock
And some proper frontera floor matts if you have any?
And some original spot lights
A series bullbars

The main thing is the rad hose the rest would be useful cheers bud

Hi gregster,

It's a 2000 model ("X" plate).

As a matter of fact and in a final act of desperation, I had one more try with the original alarm remote and used the old trick of wedging a piece of card in the fob housing to keep the battery holder pressed against the pcb ... and hey presto ... the bl@@dy thing decided to work again! Only a semi-permanent repair, but will do for now.

I'd still like to look into obtaining a spare key/2-button alarm fob though.

Next problem is that I didn't receive a record of the key number (or immobiliser code) when I bought the car, to assist with that.

Hiya.
Havent got a top hose at the mo, or the 2.5 intercooler hose, we only have the one 2.5 at the mo which is an arden blue shorty and its way too good to break so will be repaired and sold complete.
Thats the only facelift we have also, but can keep an eye out for a dash clock.
We have a really good set of genuine LWB matts, including the centre rear one which is normally missing.
Have a steel bullbar which is very very tidy and have various genuine lights depending if you wanted the early bosch type ones, or the later black plastic ones.
Give me a ring, or pop down and we'll sort something out fella.

Will keep an eye out for a spare key, but its probably unlikely we will find one as they would normally go with the ecu sets, but you never know we might get a car with an ecu fault so we can separate.

I've removed the grill on my B series and lost the small wedge rubbers that fit on the wings just under the headlights/indicators. Do you have any spare? I also fancy a new grill so do you have a spare grill in midnight blue or black?
