Provisional Location For 2016 Annual

A quick update i've only had a couple of offers of help so if there is not enough interest in a 'full annual' I will find a suitable venue and it will be up to people to arrange their individual bookings/food/laning etc.

It takes a significant amount of work to organise events such as these and as previous years it requires the help of fog members to pull it off. I.e If no one wants to lead groups laning then there will be none. I'll give it until January 2016 and make a decision then as it will have been 5 months since I posted this thread.

What do you need doing, Brian?
It'd be a sad year without a FOG Annual, and I'm sure plenty of folks feel the same way.

I'm up for leading a laning group, and planning said laning, although I'd need to have a bit of a chat with the locals. Maybe see what the GLASS folks up that way would recommend.

Not really graphically inclined, and I feel I've not enough experience to lead a laning party

But

I can organise the food if need be (there's a Bookers not far from the site)

I'll even cook if the regular chef isn't available, although that would be like a busmans holiday.

Once again its the same weekend as my Wedding Anniversary and no chance of escaping :cry:

Book her a surprise long weekend away at some girly only health club/spa thing.... Call it a 'surprise thank you' for all the years etc etc.. Pocket a few zillion bonus points from her and then come to the annual while she's getting her face covered in some stinking Chinese mud pack facial thing, pretty much every muscle twisted in two by a sadistic massager and fed a couple of raw carrots and a lettuce leaf each day all in the name of healthy relaxation!

You would need to leave after she has gone and get back home with a clean truck before she does of course, oh and not be seen in any photo's posted on faceache...

She still hasn't let me forget the last Annual at Bala when I broke my steering and we spent the Sunday driving backup to return the parts I'd borrowed to get me home :oops:

I have a couple of friends who've recently bought Frontys so I'm sure I could get them to come too, and I'm up for helping if I can - what needs doing stretch??
I might be able to help with leading, but don't know the area at all - maybe those who're offering to lead could chat together online with regards to routes, etc.?
