Due to circumstances beyond our control the woods is no longer a viable venue for the annual. Due this i have had to find an alternative venue which is in chelmsford, it was particularly chosen due to it's proximity to many miles of laning. More info here viewtopic.php?f=125&t=58647

Just to clarify, is the woods totally unavailable or just for camping?
Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one

Looking at the camping website, it states at the bottom that "Hobby Caravans" are not accepted..
Can we get a definition on that?
What do they consider a "Hobby" caravan, made by the manufacturer "Hobby" or is this some reference to ??

Yaki, the woods needs work to increase the size of camping area, improve entrances, and freshen the offroad course etc for this, which meant that to put the meet on that we planned with all food inclusive and to keep pricing at £60 per unit as Stretch was keen to do, that we needed more numbers for it to be viable. Break even point for us doing this down here was nowhere near the numbers on the list, and with a few days visitors maybe making up for the ones that historically drop out nearer the date, it was a gamble that sadly I cant afford to take as I personally would have to make up any shortfall, and I am not in a position to do this at the moment. Its a shame, as the woods would have made a great venue, but it might be something we can revisit another year going forwards.
The campsite looks good that Stretch has found, and there is some good laning around that area from going up there before with FOG, so this promises to be a good meet still albiet not where originally planned.

My thoughts too on that Greg
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ) Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you....
