Time to organise a convoy... M1/M6 Corridor

Postby geeks on Sun Oct 27, 2013 10:08 pm

Thought i would get this in first.

M1/M6 Convoy. Who's in?

Will do a meet point on M1 at Newport Services (just after J14) for Starbucks

We could sort a few more meet points out? Would be cool to get a few in if we can.

So sign up, sign up!

How about CORLEY SERVICES M6 between j2 an j3 (I think) for thoses of us coming from the A14 M6 route

The East Anglian members could maybe meet around Cambridge Services area and convoy on to the Corley Services

Thank's for that snippet of wisdom.. Oh, and no one likes a smart a$$

I would like to join the convoy but that may be a normal school day so I may not be able to leave until 15:30

Though at least now I will be able to pull up with a caravan, drop the feet and then get the kettle on. Unlike last time where I arrived at about 11:30 and had to put the tent up in the dark, wind and rain.

I found this out last year..
Just a heads up if your satnav takes you up the A5 past Shrewsbury then onto the B5396 be prepared ( especially if you are towing a caravan ) for a long tight & bendy drive with steep hill. It's a nicer drive on your clutch sticking to the A5 past the Corwen carwash then take the A494 to Bala. :D
