It's more than getting stuck, it's a great weekend with a bunch of like minded people..good mates, a chance to catch up and loads of fun...sign up folks..what else you gonna be doing that weekend

No need for a modded truck matey. There were a few standard trucks there this year.

Experience is always good, but again that doesn't matter either. Plenty of FOGgers on hand to laugh when you mess up...erm, I mean lend a hand. :lol:

Honestly, it is open to everyone and all, and probably the best place to get yourself some experience. There will be plenty of foggers around to help, and if you are unsure then you can jump in with someone going round the site, or have someone jump in with you to show you the way

And, more importantly, you get to meet a whole load of nutters and have a fantastic time away from the offroading as well :lol:

Seriously, don't worry about it mate. The offroad bit doesn't interest me to be honest, i was only on the course for about 30 mins all weekend. You can do as little or as much as you like. But as Jay (Alchamist) suggests, going round with someone or having them jump in with you is a good idea, just so that you can get a feel for the place.

The most important thing is we all have fun, and make new friends. :party:

i may have missed the answer to this question chaps but can you just turn up on the day? reason im askin such a stupid question is due to my work i wont have any idea whether il be free to attend or not, i really wana come down n join in the fun n i will do my best to be there but as i said with work owt could happen!

I would have said there was probably about 10 kids all told this year. Mine are older (13 & 15, the 16 yr old won't camp :roll:

), and they ended up adopting some of the younger kids for the weekend.
They'll be fine mate, and driving in the camping area is restricted to walking speed , so that won't be a concern either.

In answer to Furballs question on laning. Having just sign up including my mate (laning guide as last year, we don't use the site course) I can now advise that there will be laning for those that want it. We have in mind an interesting run that our local club did last year, although it is a long run there are some cracking lanes to do (expect scratching....and dents if your not careful through the trees). we'll give it a run prior to the meet to time it and make sure it's all open. It is our intension to do this in groups on one of the 2 days, the other day we can do lanes local to the site.

If we don't get much rain and the surface is dry a car on A/t's will and a car on road tyres should be able to get round. If it's wet road tyres will struggle.

It'll be the same as last year, you bring your own lunch and drink, we'll find somewhere to stop and brew up on route. Promises to be a good days laning.

I'll start a laning list in the new year to give you all time to consider your options, break it on the site or scratch it on the lanes (you can always bypass the scratchy lane)

Or break the toy on site one day, and scratch the bus on the lanes on the other....

We are very concious of everyone's financial predicament in these hard times and we want to make this weekend the best value for money we can

Me n Kel are just waiting for confirmation we can both have the weekend off mate and then we can start the ball rolling on the full wkend but we will defo be there 1 of the 2 days :thumbup:
