Annual Meet Questions

Re: Annual Meet Questions

Postby Wilberforce on Mon Feb 06, 2012 9:05 pm

Ahh, be nice if you two can come along too, even if you do want to steal my car..
Bring a bigger hammer though, last year Mrs. H was using my car as a 2-tonne tent peg.

Excellent, the more the merrier... We'll try to be gentle with you

Although if you want a meet beforehand, there's a picnic in the woods in a fortnight, keep your eyes on the SE section if you fancy it.

We're in Britain. Specifically the East Midlands. What on earth make you think there's enough sun for a sun lounger??

On the basis of learning by experience do we know if

1 - we can have the site generator running earlier and longer to provide more time for showers etc, and in the evening for the same. Also to power lighting in the covered area?
2 - anyone has considered a jet wash for cars? We know that the water supply in the camping field has enough pressure for a jet wash. Would be handy to clean the rads/cars before going home

The power supply should be fine, we may have to provide fuel though, but a broken down car thats going to be towed home should sort that

Just wanted to check as I donated my generator for one night last year.
Happy to do so again, but need to know beforehand so I bring it and it has fuel
