I was thinking of meeting at the Cambridge Services A14 J28 to depart 1 hour before we are allowed on site with prior meets arranged and times to coincide with this.

Ok. This assumes that we will be allowed onto site @ 1pm on Friday (same as last year) and to pick the better pitches  .

As I see it there will be 2 routes merge into 1 on the A14.
One coming up the M11, and the other from Norfolk/Suffolk along the A14
I would suggest that the services @ J28 would be a good meeting point at 11.45am

That will allow time for anyone who needs a break to take one. Hellos to be made, and time to depart @ 12.00

The M11 convoy I suggest a meet at J8 Services at 11am to leave by 11.10am. This will enable anyone coming from Essex to meet in one place. Also should any convoy from the SE region be using the M11 & A14 as opposed to M1 they can meet us there too  .

I need someone from Suffolk/Norwich area to work out suitable meeting points prior to Cambridge for people coming from that area (any volunteers please  )

Your ideas/comments please

Norwich/Lowestoft brigade can meet on the A47/A11 junction at the Little Thief, then head down the A11 towards the others. That will allow our resident FOG Hobbit Fogman to have some more food as well :D
