lol, well i certainly didn't take it down just to bring it back home with me, would've killed my fuel consumption  Only option was to drink it all!

Anyways, you had to drink it, it was your FOG stagger ;)

Out of interest, whats the mud like at avalanche4x4? I hope its not clay  . Also (this is more for trugga) is the water in the ponds full of silt or is the site kind to our rads? :D

Im just asking because I'm still finding silt in my rad and engine bay from devils pit when I went in september - not good

Just for Hipo, the mud in the woods is thick mud, the main site in sandy and grit other than the mud hole which is gloop. The silt in the ponds is primarily sandy.

Driving back and forth in the shallow pond for an hour washes the worst of it of !!!!!

Not much clay in evidence.

Cheers

Stuart :)

Do they have jet washes on site then....... only asking 'cos the local site to me, hill 'n' ditch in Moldsworth is an old sandstone quarry and it eats wheel bearings anf joints for breakfast.

Don't think there's a jet wash, organisers willl need to see if the owner can provide one. Failing that there is a stand pipe in the camping field, some one could always bring a hose (thats what we do at Billing).

Having said that, the last day we were there it was only me, a 90 and a disco thats go bogged  , I drove throught the lake and got mine cleaned out  , t'other 2 drove home as was  .

Regards

Stuart

I don't think I'm going to have time for any off-road driving in the fronty with all the other stuff they have on offer - quads, argocats, buggy racing, hovercraft, archery (wonder if they'll let me use my own bow?)... :D
