Kindle or Kobo?

Kindle or Kobo?

Postby Drift on Wed May 29, 2013 11:22 pm

I am thinking of getting Mrs Drift one for our holidays as she reads loads of books on the tablet but that's rubbish in bright sunlight.
I am after something second had for around £60ish quid but I have not got a clue what to get or the differences in them.
Any of you guys got any preferences or advice?

Daughter had the same issue an Archos 10.1 tablet, only used it for books for a month. She preferred her friends Kindle, so i got her the Hd jobbie, as it just came out.
She says its brilliant, there is also a new white paper version. Although more expense. Mrs uses her Galaxy 3,says thats also good (just incase she need a phone update) possibly combine the 2......that reminds me, find where i packed the tablet to get it advertised.

I got Maria one of them from tesco ste. Great value. Brilliant in sunlight. And just the job as long as you don't want all the gizmo's that the kindle fire has

I have a kindle because i mostly read international books. Also buying kindle books shave off transportation costs from US books.
In my country books are mostly epubs. The access to international library in seconds (buying kindle) mattered more when i choose to buy a reader.
