i pad2 vs new i pad

As the name suggests im trying to decide what to buy,
Do I get a 32gb I pad 2, or a 16gb new I pad.
Its for her indoor'z birthday.
Cant make up my mind if more memory is better than newer technology, any ideas

or get an android tablet and some other things

The difference in price gets you a super high quality retina screen and 4g. Of which 4g is not avalaible yet in the UK assuming you went for that model instead of the wifi version. For me the price is not worth it, the iPad 2 will serve its purpose just as good and you wont notice any difrence.
