I've been asked by a friend to set up a website for their farm shop. Just going to do a basic page at the moment, but if they wanted to be able to take orders and 'handle' money online in the future, does anyone know how much some software would cost for this?

most hosting companies offer free shop software with there hosting platfroms on linux servers and then the options for payment are as mentioned above so just check with the hosting firm they have to see what is available.

As a personal recommendation, I would go with osCommerce. Easy to set up and use, very well supported, and has many different payment plugins etc. Give me a shout if you need any help sorting it out
