PlayStation 3 or xbox 360

ok guys and girls, as the title says, witch is better,

XBOX 360, purely for Forza and Halo

weve had experience of both here 'cos of our boys, they seem to prefer the xboxs 36os mainly cos they have more online mates, they keep breaking down though, in 3 or so years weve been through 6 xboxs, some fixed under warranty, some i sorted out with the thermal paste fix and some were just dead in the water with jammed HD's, both the boys are still on their original PS3's.

ps3 everytime, its the future of home entertainment

Its got a proper internet browser, you can use it as a tv tuner/recorder, use love film on it, iplayer 4od and itv player, bluray and all that from a launch ps3

from a launch xbox, (of which there is probably only 5% still working), you didnt get any of this, and oh yeah you have to pay a stupid fee to use xbox live

the only reason more people are on xbox is that it was cheaper

XBOX 360 Hands down!

PS3 Just an expensive blueray player.

alwasy run the 360 layin down never use it standing upright coz it will overheat and will need to be fixed all the time.
set a bit of untreated wood under the 360 when its laying flat and the wood will draw all the heat away and the then you wont have to worry about it getting the dreaded redring. :dance:

I have got a PS3 and its great....not into online gaming as am cr4p at video games and I would get killed/lose in seconds online...
We only bought it cos I wanted that Pacific rift monster truck racing game, and I couldnt get it for ps2...worked out an expensive game though! :lol:

Have heard good things about the xbox 360 and tha new racing game for it looks great...but I have always stuck with the sony's since ps1 and have never had one let me down (infact have still got both my ps1 and ps2 and they both still work fine!)

We have both ps3, and xbox, it all depends on what games you play, or if you need the added blue ray of the ps3

Was tempted by Forza 3, then Need 4 Speed Shift and Dirt 2.

Never owned a console before I bought the 360 a little over a year ago, but I do like it. The newer models are an improvement over the early ones and supposedly don't suffer the "red ring of death".

Integrates with Windows Media on your PC (with a wireless/network connection). A years Xbox Live subscription is about £40 - allowing for head-to-head racing (or shooting) with people all over the world - quite bizzar when you're being sworn at in French for aggresivly overtaking another player :lol:

next door are X-boxers and they are on their third console, "red ring of death" claimed both the others..think I got the PS about a week or so before they got the first one...

Guess it comes down to which one your used to and the titles available..
