Sony Ericsson w800i icon

Does anyone know what this icon is?
Its Lee's phone and when this comes on it saps the battery big time, we have replaced the battery but sussed out it only runs down when this icon appears and it only appears occasionally and I cant find a way of turning it off.
The phone was an Orange but unlocked to take 02.

im not a 100% but i think it is a web browser have a look threw settings and turn off anything to do with connecting to web

Ahha I though it could be 3g, but couldnt figure how to turn it off, top notch guys thank you

my daughter had one of those phones and the same thing was happening to hers , took it back to the shop and the assistant said it was the web browsing icon . she said have a look in the settungs on the phone as it might be on automatic browsing , and if it doesnt go off straight away switch the phone off and switch it back on . that will get rid of the icon . hope this helps mate
