This might be a stupid question but here goes, I've bought a cheap DVD player for the caravan its only small and at the moment it runs on mains power. The Question is If you take out the transformer or dropper inside the machine could it be converted to run on 12volts?????

buy an invertor it changes 12v to 240v

you can then use it to charge video camera & the like
