How To Upload/Add Image Attachments

Postby stretch on Sat Jan 02, 2016 11:29 pm

I have setup 'attachments' which means images can now be uploaded and linked direct on the forum without the need of photobucket etc.

1, When starting or replying to a post you need to select 'use full editor'
2, Click the 'upload attachment' under the submit button
3, Click browse and select your image
4, Click 'add the file'
5, There will now be a 'posted attachments header and a box to enter a file comment
6, Click 'place inline'
7, Some code will appear in your reply ie ["attachment=0]Lighthouse.jpg[/attachment"] (without the ")

Lighthouse.jpg

Maximum images size is 1024x768 and 4MB.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

If you hit "Quick Reply" on any thread there is a button underneath where you type the text with "Full Editor"

Hit this and the complete range of editing and messaging posting tools are available.

Also if you hit the button that says "Post a reply" that will take you to the full editing option.

Note. Some sections of the site won't allow full editing (like this one for example), and limit you to "Quick Reply"
