Provisional Location For 2016 Annual

Provisional Location For 2016 Annual

Postby stretch on Thu Aug 27, 2015 8:55 pm

Hi all, been looking into possible locaiton for next years annual and as i've had more time to look into it decided we'll move further up the country so hopefully it'll encourage more people to come.

As usual it will be held in the early May bank holiday so next year it will be Friday 29th April to Sunday 1st May so that give everyone 7 months to book time off work/make arangements etc.

Site we're considering is located here

Wincle
SK11 0QL
https://www.google.co.uk/maps?z=16&q=53.20159,+-2.06203&ll=53.20159,-2.06203

Price will be depending on numbers etc, i've spoken with many many sites in that area and due to their popular location ie peak district/national park demand a higher premium and the majority charge for each person (including children) not per pitch. I will obviously try to keep pricing as realistic as possible. Currently i'm looking at the £70 mark which means if you save £10 per month from now until the annual you will be sorted

I'm looking for volunteers for laning leaders so please drop me a pm if you can help out.

Aye, I'm up for it. I'll get the van hitched up ready at the weekend.
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ;) )

Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck.

This post was just a general heads up about possible location i don't have full details yet hence why I havent posted them. It's a bit early to start worrying about hookups etc there's more important things that need sorting first.
