Mirror the other guys in thanking Greg for organising today.
It was a tad slippy after all the recent storms/rain etc with more than the norm of large lumps of timber blocking some of the tracks.
Although he's done some laning with me, it was my younger bros first experience of playing in more extreme off roading - had a chuckle hearing him 'Ooh Ooh' as the truck started to tilt sideways on some of the tracks

Cracking day...thanks to everyone who braved the cold and came along. Great to see some new faces, and equally great to catch up with the regulars.

Was very very sticky today, but everyone did a blinding job of getting round and keeping out of the scenery.

Big thanks to those who helped clear the fallen trees so all the tracks were usable again, there was a fair bit of carnage caused by the recent gales and I took a good few hours to sort it as some of fallen trees were kinda substantial.

And special thanks to Jim for cheffing at lunchtime...blinding job which warmed us all up momentarily, and thanks to everyone who stayed to help clear down.

Will have the dates sorted for 2014 in the next couple of days.

Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again...
She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body...
Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer!

Had a good drive yesterday, enjoyed the day. Thanks to all those offering various advice regarding manual diffs and winch mounting. Back to the drawing board, but at least now I shouldn't make too many mistakes. The tracks should be a lot clearer of mud now, most of it is in the road outside my house!
Looking forward to getting the dates for 2014, so that I can get them fixed in the diary.

Had a great day as ever, and although it was blooming cold we all had a great laugh, good to see some newbies having a go was great to meet you all hope you can make it to some of the meets next year. We did get a bit stuck at one point and after a tow from fudge we were off and playing again lol. Thanks to Greg for organising as ever and thanks to Jim for supplying us all with hot food :D. Andy did get some pics but photobucket is being a bit temperamental so he will get them on here eventually. Looking forward to making all the meets next year.

So from all of us in the hurst household we wish you a happy healthy safe and muddy new year
