Keith,me & the missus will be there,if our Frontera is back on the road in time.

Keith,I take there will be a new meeting place for everyone to travel in a convoy,as this venue is very near to me & the missus.

I have just looked at google maps and there looks like a huge bit of ground just outside the gates where we could all meet up at,unless someone else has any ideas.

Yes it is Dan.
Dave, yet to look in to this bud. I'll check soon but it may be an idea just to meet at the FOG stand.

A couple of miles south-east of Knockhill motor racing circuit if that assists in picturing the area.

I am hoping to bring the Frontera, if successful it will be the longest straight run the truck has had in my ownership!

Space will be my biggest hurdle - three folk plus four bulky items. I can see the roof box going on which will make it a rather unasthetically pleasing example of a Frontera.

I wouldn't worry about how it looks too much mate.
I have had no time to tart mine up this year, to the stage where I really need to get 2 new rear doors.
Repaired them 3 times now, and they are bubbling again.
As long as we are all there and have a laugh, there will be others Frontys that can take the front stage.
Regards, Keith.

Are there many others attending?

I am going to attempt tidying up some rust spots and check the back axle oil level. Surely the truck should manage 70 miles?? RAC card in pocket.

I've been using the Fronty as a daily-driver for about 6 weeks now - fingers crossed.

Not sure how many Dave. Usually I get a list but this year I have had little time to myself, so haven't organised much.
That's why we are not arranging food this year.
So hopefully a couple of gazebos will be brought along, so we have something to sit under.
I'll need to find time to look out the FOG banners too. I can't remember where they are.

I don't have a gazebo but I do have a massive heavy duty poly sheet (roof repair grade) which should open out to 15feet x 20feet-ish, unfolded. With some poly rope I have we could create an open sided marquee with four strategically positioned trucks!

The thing about the trucks is we don't really have a say how we park them, due to space given.
This place will probably be smaller than usual as it is on the site of a bus museum.
Not 100% sure though.
As for food, we are going to bring a picnic style arrangement, or packed lunch.
