Uploading of photos to FOGThis will sound a bit daft but is there another method to upload photos to FOG other than sodding photobucket. They have changed the Photobucket website by making it harder to fathem out how to upload photo's. The old Photobucket was much better and more direct but this new version is crap to be honest.
Re: Uploading of photos to FOGJust host them on any site (doesnt have to be photobucket) and highlight the picture and click on the Img tag button avove the box your are typing in to reply.
Just make sure your pictures are of the correct size, photobucket is handy for resizing pictures. Or from photobucket just click the sprocket icon on the picture and get links and copy the bottom img link to your post. Ste

Re: Uploading of photos to FOGImages cannot be directly hosted on FOG, Kev....
I can do an updated guide with pictures for the Photobucket upload process if you'd like, maybe try and do the same for another host as well. Ultimately though, it's still a case of remotely hosting the pictures and adding the links to your post. Jim...

Re: Uploading of photos to FOGThanks steve but i did try that...It appears the old Photobucket link that used to be at the bottom of each photo isn't there anymore. I'll have to studdy photobucket for a bit to see wots what on there now and how it works
You can try to explain Jim if you like but it does seem there system changed and my not doing this kinda stuff that often don't help either.
Re: Uploading of photos to FOGOn the uploaded picture on Photobucket there is an icon that appears on the picture when you hover your mouse over it, it then shows options, just click the option you want like "get links"

Re: Uploading of photos to FOGKev, photobucket has changed recently and in my opinion its not as user friendly as it once was
If you go into your Photo Library and move your curser over the photo you want you should see what looks like a small white sprocket appear in the top righ corner of the pic. Move the curser onto that little white sprocket and you'll get a drop down menu appear. Click the "Get Links" option You'll then see another box appear and simply click the one that says IMG Codes. It will automatically copy the link for you Then all you need to do is go back into your post on fog, right click and hit "Paste" and thats it
Re: Uploading of photos to FOGI looked on the photos part of the site and found that there is now the IMG CODE which i could not see before but has now re-appeared after a bit of settings tweeking in a drop down box, I used to be able to hover over those codes and then copy that image to FOG that way in my posts
Re: Uploading of photos to FOGSorted now so thanks for the help and advice..Wasn't that bad to be honest but still a pain in the preverbial with the new unuser friendly setup adopted
