Annual Spanner Party/BBQ 2013 20th-21st July

Postby 4x4 bobby on Tue Jan 01, 2013 11:32 pm

Well folks its that sort of time again!!!! Chrissy and me have discussed this years annual BBQ and Spanner party and as the title says 20Th-21St July. Any persons wishing to attend and want to know what to expect just look at previous threads for 2011 and 2012 and you will get the idea. This seems to get bigger every year so lets see if we can do it again. A names list can be started whenever you like!!! :drink:  :oh yer:

Regards to all Bobster & Chrissy

First one for your list Bobby....

Gregster....

about time I went to one of these as Bobby works so hard organising them (and he keeps hassling me to come, LOL)...
Might do a FOG express service up there for any bits that folk need from my "collection" that they need for the spanner party, so plan ahead foggers.
Its in the diary and on the callender!
Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!
click here for the SE Events Index/links Thread...see all the reviews and whats coming up soon!

Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again...
She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body...
Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer!

Bobby...

Stick me 'n' the boss on the list please mate. Same as last year with the caravan too.
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ;) )

Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck.

Comments on 'O-no' the truck may be left here

And me :D Was bloody good fun last year, nice to put faces to names, etc.
I'll rehome the dog for a day or so, and trundle up in the truck & kip in the back like last time.

I'm sorry to have to pull out of this meet on the Saturday - maybe I might pop up on the Sunday morning (who's caravan/horse box should I aim the air honrns at ?)

My motor club has arranged their "Fun Day" for Saturday 20th and I have many reasons to attend, namely:

1. I have free roam of the site as a recovey crew
2. I get to take lots of photos
3. I catch up with me old mates
4. I've been offered a drive of this (as long as I don' get it more sideways than the owner, yer right):

I'm sure you understand - hopefull see you Sunday morning.

What is it with the BBQ and me getting missed off the list then, eh? I say I'm coming, and get edited out. Honestly.

Anyhow, moot point now, as I shall be unable to make it for reasons of being at a wedding in Poland.
Hope you all have fun though, see you next year...
