track local to wigan + leigh

Don't know if any local lads round Wigan and Leigh may have been or know if its there so ill post it any way

if you go to the bottom off maples ave in hindley green, down the side of a car shop called wynnsor's. There's a dirt track down the very bottom of the road follow it round and there's a few big hills lots off water and yeah fun

It is possible looking on a map that you are on Ince P&P site, it is run by Ady and cost £15 for a full day of fun.
Yes it is a good site, i've been a few times myself If it is Ady's site I don't think you should just be going on it. Be careful as you could be trespassing.

Had a look myself, and not being from the area it looks like private land through there.

if its that good a place, it might be worth the effort to try and find out who owns the land, and then go and talk to them and politely ask if you can use it from time to time...
A little bit of effort and consideration can sometimes go a long way with landowners, a lot of people choosing to just trespass sooner than ask permission...
You never know, you might get a result.
If it is the P&P site that rseaville is talking about, then result you have got a pretty cheap fun site on your doorstep when its open.

If others regularly trespass on this land which might be private property, you could suggest to the landowner that you would willing patrol the land a few evenings a week, with the owners permission and gather info of those unlawfully trespassing to be forwarded to the police. That way you get to go play with the your truck whilst doing your "job", with the owners permission, and he can be rid of the assholes who choose to drive all over his land.

like the idea of that gregster i might see if i get track him down and see if FOG and few other fronty sites could do monthly play day there or something, that's if theirs enough interest and can get hold off him

Gain his confidence in yourself first mate, show you are responsible and respect his property ...then later on you can introduce a couple of mates you can trust, if you go in there wanting to arrange pay and play from the off you wont get anywhere. Be expected to put some work in to get a result as this has got to be worth his while for the potential hassle. This could mean repairing fences etc to keep the idiots out.
And dont plaster the details all over the internet of what you are doing and where it is, or idiots will turn and wreck the place.

its private land known locally as the minis. the area has been abused over the years by divvies on crossers. although the "road" is a farmers track that links to bickershaw and is gated at bickershaw end
