Got no Oxy kit now as BOC wanted £102 for rental took the bottles back and he said you only got one bottle down on your account I wont put the oxygen on as they will probably want back charge rental for that. I said your kidding and he said no its £102 for the Acetylene and £102 for the oxygen, what a rip off. I had only used it to undo a stuck bolt so that cost me £158 for the privilege. At least Dick Turpin wore a MASK!!!!!!
Im hoping the weather is going to improve for next weekend. Looking forward to knocking off from work on Monday as that will give me a whole 9 days off.

SEE YOU ALL SOON!!!!!!

Why swap back axle though, that's alright isn't it?

It's a lot better now I've stuck some oil in... It's had a fair bit of play in the diff for about 12 months now, oh and a slight weep on the cover.. And the plan has always been to drop a LSD in, just need to find a good one and a spare prop to shorten. Plus, with 196k on the clock I reckon I can expect a bit of wear here and there. I will, over the next few months change the gearbox as well as the prop.
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ;) )

Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck.

In all seriousness, one problem I could do with the collective intelligence on, is my towbar. Well, the detachable swan neck bit at anyrate. Else towing Holly to her final resting place will be a challenge.
It's the Brink one, and thanks to Frank's post I've bought a new trigger/release mech to replace the buggered one, but the spring loaded pin in the middle is still mostly seized and beyond vast quantities of WD40, I'm about out of ideas.

Hi everyone just a quick one, please, please bring yourself a chair to sit on as I only have a few, anyone staying over bring a duvet as it gets cold ere at night if you are in the horse box or your truck, the dogs a bit of a bugga but think we have sorted that with safety gates and everthing apart from the toilet is or will be down the garden, so no need for anyone to be in the kitchen. Please keep any little people close to you and acompany them to the toilet so they do NOT go in the kitchen as his favorite treat is a chunk of little person.
c u all friday/ saturday/ sunday , really looking forwarding to seeing everyone xxxx
