What a weekend 8)
I would like to thank everyone who attended and made it the weekend it was. The whether was like a box chocolates as we didn't no what we was going to get  However this did not impact on the weekend at all.
The lanes throughout the weekend was was great with strata being the main event which did not disappoint. I have loads and loads of videos and will post them once they upload, which will be sometime next week as my internet connection is so slow

There was no AA trucks need throughout the weekend as everyone set off for home under there own steam 8) However there was breakages and some small repairs needed throughout the weekend. This included mine.
Once again i would like to thank everyone for attending and will post some pics and videos later :D

Must agree with all the above, thanks to Colley for organising an amazing weekend and thanks to all the attendees and Export well you showed us all you need to go laning is a nice pair of black leather slip on shoes and a hoodie don't bother with all that 3 layer taslan/ goretex rubbish and waterproof boots  I need to sort the video's and pictures.

Stopped at the garage just outside Rhayader on the way home and jet washed the wheels and brake calliper, then noticed the big sign no off road or farm vehicles to be washed so spent another £1 trying to jet wash the mud and large rocks down the drain unfortunately most of the rocks were too big to wash away, but hey ho.

Superb weekend, company and lanes. Thanks again to Steve for organising it. The campsite setting (20 feet from the River Wye) was superb. The campsite didn't charge me for the kids which was an added bonus

Friday.
Arrived at the site in good time , caravan set up in 15 mins with the kettle on. Happy Days
Popped into Rhayader for some supplies and pulled out into the road and was swiped by a Ford Focus. A tiny scuff mark to both our cars, but no doubt that's the end of my no claims bonus
Had a few drinkies at the site whilst the sun was shining , then had a few of the lads around to the caravan for a few more

Saturday.
Felt a bit guilty waking up in a heated caravan when I saw Tom's face and had to listen to him telling me about ice on the inside of his tent :problem: Not guilty enough to swap places with him though
We split into two groups and Colleys group set off first , which is a good result as we (me) are always slow to get going in the morning. Added to that the 3 month old alternator on the Troop started playing silly buggers so a jump start was needed.
Did some cracking lanes including Strata without any issues , other than nicking Dave's battery. (Cheers bud) Met some more Frontera's on route which was a suprise. Especially when I realised one of them was Postfinder (dissapointingly not on his scooter) Must say I was uber impressed with the Trooper on tiny wheels/tyres (70/15's) and no lift of any sort, it took all of Strata in it's stride.
After nearly 10 hours on the road I was knackered, the kids were asleep in the back of the car on the way back  Got to the carvan and put a DVD on and nearly fell asleep myself. We were all wiped out from a great day.

Sunday.
Yet again we (me) were late leaving due to me not prepared to miss my full fry up and the fact the girls were still asleep :-/
Did some superb lanes, which in my opinion were as good as Strata if not better which was a suprise. Had a couple of minor incidents. Two vehicles needed to be towed out . First was Dave's 2.8, second was Matt's Disco (Insert laughing smiley here). My Troop also lacked forward movement for a second, but matt and Stevd leaned on it and away it went
On the final lane (another cracker) one of my copper brake hoses decided to explode which was annoying. But credit to the lads they swarmed over the Troop and with some crimping and hammering of brake lines I was good to go again. Such a good job that I was able to tow the caravan all the way home without any issues. Nice one fella's

So all in all a superb weekend.

Thanks (in no particular order) to :
Colley for organising and the routes
My group for their very impressive rednecking skills
John for all the gate opening
My rugrats for all the gate closing
Export for taking over the annoying drunkard position from me , giving me a weekend off
And everyone else for making it a cracking weekend for myself and the girls.
