Second what Reccy said - massive thanks to John for organising and his lads for their navigation skills and gate opening/shutting efforts. Good to meet everybody and thanks for welcoming me to your playground, and what a playground it is. Over the years, I driven through the Peak District on the main drags a few times, but to be able to experience the real beauty of it from up on top and in amongst it in it's raw beauty off the beaten track is something else. I reckon we clocked getting on for 100 miles doing actual lanes and hoping from one spot to the next so that shows the vastness of the Peaks and the quality of the laning that's on offer.
I'll check out and upload my pictures in the week when I get home. Need to that sort that stuff on my desktop.
Final note, apologies for the late arrival (my satnav needs a few updates so as to see a few of the newer junctions around the Notts/Derby areas).

A big thanx to Johnboy for sorting out the route.Thanx to the lads and steve for the gates. Just a shame we didnt have enough time to do the full route but think we would still be out there now if we did. Cracking day and nice to see some new faces. Just need to get the rad sorted now as its got worse after the run. Top day out. :D :D :D :D :D

Looking at that dent in that picture it isn't that bad to be honest. Block of wood and a hammer. Followed by some filler and a lick of paint should sort it out.
