hi all midlanders
any one took a 3,2 v6 apart as mine is being a night mare to get the bottom exhaust manifold bolts off as they are hidden underneath and me nor the spanner monkey could shift them so ended up with the beasty being left due to being rained off with 2 out of the 3 exhaust manifold bolts loose from the bottom and third you cant get at with the prop in the way and on the other end of the manifond i can get my hand to get under neath because of the steering rod thing.
so anyone round here who has some idea who fancys comeing over to nottingham to help the spanner monkey and me tomorrow as this is my only ride and i have only been carless for a few hours and it is killing me. if i dont get it done tomorrow the spanner monkey cant come back till monday.
so if any one can help i am offer endless sply of tea and coffee and free chippy dinner at some point in the day and the endless gratitude of a new member

got the heads off and hecked them and can see where the gasket has been leaking on between 3 and 5 and 6 has been venting striaght aout the back. checked the heads one had been skimmed before recently so not much i can do with it checked it is true so sealed it back up and with new gaskets all round and then took the other side off and cleaned it and looked ok but this one had not been skimmed but when checked was ok and so sealed it all back up and just got to sort out connecting it all back on monday as the spanner monkey cant make tomorrow. gutted
i took lots of pics just got to up load them and then sort out a link to go on here.
