The tank guard is ringing wet with underseal at the moment but it is ready to fit. I have salvaged the brackets so just need to weld them to a strap (cue the Fudge welder). Hopefully the bolts will have been liberated during the week taking some of the sweat out of the job.
I have an old spare tyre that I will bring along for display and if anyone can make use of it afterwards they are welcome to it. Will also bring workshop manual and owners hand books and have also got a steering box and a cb radio which can be used for display.

I'm just hoping I get time to say hello to everyone at some point over the weekend. Going to be busy for us I hope, as we have a healthy charity total from last year to beat, but found out yesterday that we can use the course we built at Trinity Park, Ipswich for the Suffolk Show so that should net us a good few quid.
If you see me rumbling around in my big white Disco Commercial give me a wave and I'll try to find time to stop for a chat.

just as an idea (and i have done this)

i have made a little photo album of my car, form when i first go it, and all the mods and step by step that i have done to it,
so when we are not doing the course it can be on the cars bonnet, and people can have a look what has been done

Nice one Trugga ... they look good. I will send the wife out foe some stiff card/plasticard to mount them to so they don't get creased and we can hang them.

If you win the brochure Tom I can grab it for sure. I would of bid on it myself bt for some reason I have no need for a B Series brochure :P

I will try and get the gas bottle refilled on the caravan as well so we can have a tea and coffee making facilities, also means the oven/grill/hobs will be working for us to heat up food etc.

I too have a brochure and Haynes How to do it the hard way manual which I will bring along. Am currently making a heap of things which might just come in handy, where have I heard that before.

For the tank guard repairers please note a leak has developed some where around the pump on the top of the tank. The large white ring is tight but obviously trying to see what has occured is slightly challenging. If anyone has an idea of the problem and thinks it would be wise to purchase something before saturday let me know.
