SMC OPEN DAY

Postby James Bass on Mon Feb 14, 2011 10:35 am

Hi all.
Another group I'm a member of ( SCOTTISH MUD CLUB ) is having an open day on Sunday 20th February at Drumclog in South Lanarkshire. Essentially it's to get more members, but also to give people an insight into off-roading. The day will be £20, but this allows you full access to the 500 acre site. There are parts for the novice, all the way up to places such as "Death Valley" for the more experienced (so called because it can be a car killer). I'll be travelling up from NE England for the day.

We'll be meeting on the campsite at about 9.30 ish. Anyone interested in travelling up, is more than welcome. If you fancy coming up in convoy with me, then drop me a PM and we can sort something out.

I know for some it will be quite a hike - it's a 330 mile round trip for me - but trust me it'll be worth it. The site is massive, and some amazing scenery up there, as well as great people.

The GPS co-ordinates for your SatNav are...
55 degrees 35' 59.02" North
4 degrees 08' 42.19" West

HOPE TO SEE A FEW OF YOU GUYS THERE.

Bit too far away James. Now if you could move Scotland a bit further down south I'd be a bit more tempted :D
