Reasonably flexible, although anything in Jan is out for me.
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ;) )

Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck.

We don't mind if the date changes.

To be honest, if it was later, that would be better, as we are moving house next weekend.

Could still do the 6th though, but would be good to catch up with Bobby and Chrissy.

As things are I may not be able to make it :( with only 12 weeks to the annual meet and me needing to finance and fit a gearbox and Lee's car needing and MOT and other commitments plus I still need a job, things are a bit tight so I will have to miss this one now :(

Look what I found, Image it's not the cleanest gearbox on the planet and has been out of a car for at least 12 months but it seems tight enough and was sold to me as a 2.8 gearbox some time ago when I was looking for a spare. The one fitted to my truck has a fairly sloppy gate (when compared to the MX5 sat in the drive next to it) so I went looking for another gearbox, it appears the 'fix' for sloppy gearbox gates is a bit of moulded nylon that you can get from vx for pence few. I will get round to it one day....... Meantime Drifty, if you want the gearbox it's your's. But it's sat on my drive underneath the MG atm so transport from Carterton, Oxfordshire up North is required for 1 x ever so slightly heavy gearbox.

np Drifty, I'll hang on to it as a spare. The wife can drag it down the shed in the morning, give her summit to do.
