No probs Dave. Any idea how many may turn up so I can give rough numbers to Forestry Commission - although the road is advertised as a public forest drive I feel it only decent to give them the heads up. Ta. David.

I just caught upwith this thread as i thought it was an an event down south for some reason. If your wanting to raise awerness why not have a convoy going through a city center with balloons n stuff make it noticed, as for smc there was a charity thing tried on the old forum and it caused an arguement wasnt good think there is a post about charities. You can post about the charity an its down to Members if they want to contribute but thats as far as it goes i believe so if you do post dont get offended .

I have not heard of sands, The forresty have a person you can contact for scotland its on the website i had contacted them last year for the three lochs drive.
Ask the charity for advice on orginising the event i think if you collecting money you need their permission an be registered i think

David,Ive started a list to see how many we get from here. Thankyou very much for taking on that part.

Drinks,a convoy is another great idea too. Ive contacted sands and Im just waiting to hear from them and as soon as I hear from sands I will post it up here. S.A.N.D.S stands for still and neonatal death society which is for bereavement for parents who lost babies to still or neonatal deaths.

bigdazz,I will count you in. :D

Are you going to get other families that have used the charity to get involved there may be a scottish forum that you could post on sometimes it helps to meet others who have been through it. We had used one for autism for our area it gave us contacts an parent groups ect for our area . Wife suggest the maternity hospitals ask them too

Here is one of the headlines from the S.A.N.D.S website (which the web address is on page 1 of this thread):-
"17 babies are still born or die shortly after birth every day in the uk." I am not trying to upset and make people feel guilty,I just want people to be aware that this happens to alot of people and Ive had the experience of losing a baby and I just want to be able to give something back to them for all their support that they gave me and my ex partner. I wont go into to much detail of my experience but I will say that I felt guilty that I couldnt save my daughter when she was being born, she was being born feet first instead of head first.
