Having recently organised a Green Lane day in N.Wales for another forum group, I'spose there'd be no harm in running it again with a different group.

Always interested in the social side of things - teh, why not.

Sign me up!

I've seen a local group from the VVOC recently & they arrange about 6 meets a year minimum with only 8-14 Vectra Owner/Drivers at each meet

yep i'm up for local outings here in the Northeast, the only problems i see to having days out is that the green lanes are now closed to all traffic so it would have to be a pay and play day, maybe somewahere like Langdale

Cheers

Not all lanes are closed.

BOATS and ORPA's technically still allow motorised vehicles (unless there is a TRO on them). What we have lost is all the dual status lanes that were UCR's & foot paths.

That is the simple version

Pay & Play: Usually a farmers field, quarry etc. Yoy pay someone (land owner, organiser) and play to your hearts content - mud, water, hills, the lot.

Greenlaning: Driving sensibly on public rights of way, observing the highway code and making as little damage as possible.

Please, do not get them muddled up.
