Cars in the Park (Lichfield)

For those of you with an interest in cars and who live in the Lichfield area, you might be interested in popping over to Beacon Park this weekend.

I'll be there on the Streetly Motor Club stand, with the Frontera Sport parked next to a Lancia Delta HF Integrale, a MK2 Escort Grp A Rally car, a Peugeot 205 rally car, a Citroen Saxo rally car and a forest spec Lotus Elise rally car.

Good day out yesterday (we (SMC) only had the stand booked for Saturday for some reason).

The cars we had drew a lot of interest, especially the forest rally spec Lotus. There was also interest in the Frontera and I expect we'll (FOG) get a few more members (or at least lurkers)

There were a lot of interesting cars to look/dream about - I especially liked the Model T and the old Austin truck.

The event area included a 4x4 "display" by the Midland off road club - which of course got some of my attention.

Not many pics as I was busy on our stand promoting Streetly Motor Club (and FOG when the opportunty arose - and gave out a number of these too.
