well I did go to Lockerbie for a wedding once. Went for a night on the "town" and in the space of 45mins met the local drug dealer, the local wanabee gangsta and the village idiot (who hates the english except scousers, which me being a londoner living in scouseland confused him, but really wanted to go to war with the Cumbrians)

have met a few nice un's from over the border though...granted 90% had a bottle of Buckfast at the side of them. (also they were sleeping i think..well it was nearly 1in the afternoon)..

oh and I've met Vaux2..

it's all in jest before anyone gets all shirty about it......I'll even say "oh poor Andy Murray, that's a shame".....30seconds after he gets knocked out of wimbledon

like I've said, I've got nothing against the scottish. I actually admire you for your national pride and passion..Wish us under the border didn't have to hope our football team qualify for the world cup every 4 years to show ours..

being English due to birthright (not 100%sure where the real roots of the family come, mothers side desend from the MacDonald's of Islay, as I remember my great grandfather was a hard nosed Scot..nasty barsteward if stories are to be belived ), I'm staying down here..I'm going to be the one to close the door once everyone else has gone..waving me flag
