Any newbie lanin goin on in the north-west or anyone game?

Postby V6POWER on Sat Jan 16, 2010 12:31 am

Just wondering if anyone has plans to meet up anytime soon in the north-west or if anybody is game for meeting up to do a route let me know iam in north Manchester but dont mind doin a bit of traveling and pushing it off road but am new to this with factory standard LWB 3.2 V6 so nothing that means ill have to rebuild the car to get to work in it the next day.
Or even if someone could point me in the direction of an easy lane or two to try on my own to get started?

As soon as the Wayfarer (a long lane in North Wales) is repaired I will organise a newbie day out as that lane connected to a couple of other lanes are relatively easy and have stunning views that usually get new laners hooked, it and the other lanes make a spectacular day out you wont forget and they are non damaging to the car. 8)

Plenty of other lanes in that area to keep us occupied without bothering with the wayfarer if you want to organise something sooner rather than later. Some nice ones heading south to lake Vrnwy that are fairly mild.
Someone mention laning? Just tell me when and where!

at the moment, some of us are trying to get the cars ready for bala(click link below) i have just started on my v6, but have a few engine problems to sort out, then i can start the modding process, we in the north west tend to use north wales alot, and some times the lakes, plus in feb i am hoping to get down to kent, they are having a camping weekend,

its not a good idea to go on your own, if you get stuck or worst, no will be around to help, always best to go with one more, not many lanes around the n/w, we tend to use north wales a lot, Feb is nearly here, I'm not just trying to get it ready for bala, i am also trying to get it up and running to get down south for there weekend in Feb in the woods, it may not be of road ready, but i am hoping to be there

If you're in N Manchester, there are a load of quarry days to get you used to different types of obstacles and terrain. I'm hoping to get to a few in the next month or 2.

My first P&P site. Dented both sills, buckled a cross member, lost a bumper end cap, lost a number plate and split the sump guard.

Oh the memories :D :D :D
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!
