F.O.G. fundraising day/weekend

Postby andysd1 on Tue May 12, 2009 12:32 am

i was talking with Mr&mrs tom, are new adopted mum and dad of the site,

we are going to try and put a fundraising day or weekend together, the money collected will be just for FOG,

tom is looking in to getting a field down his way, which is a bit bumpy, where we can run 4x4 training on, also getting some of the new clothing range in, and a bouncy castle, so we need some more ideas
flying solo, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hi Andy
If the field is for free to use ,Maybe charge an entrance fee to enter & park their vehicles say a £1.00 and if its for the weekend, then charge Campers a price to camp, and donate the money to FOG!
BBQ stand, whereby the punters pay for the food ..
Possible a treasure hunt - pay a fee to enter
Game of Football, girls against the boys... Enter if you dare!  Pay a fee to enter

Just an  like  Hope it helps
Kind Regards Image

Auction of Promises anybody who needs a job done or helping with could bid for the services of a member or depend where any of us work something from that side (no thieving)

Autojumble clear out the garage

Beer race Head to your local supermarket, load up on cheap booze and charge people to drink it. Quickly

Dry Cornflakes/Cream Cracker eating contest Charge a small fee to enter and move back to avoid the spraying of crumbs.

Guess the Weight... Find something suitably heavy - anything from a jar full of sweets to alex  - and ask friends and family to guess it's weight. Charge folk 50p to enter and buy a small prize for the winner.

Penalty shoot-out competition

Scoff-a-hotdog competition Who can eat two in the shortest time? Who can eat the most in two minutes?

Tug-of-War Teams pay to enter, with the hope of winning prizes. could be fronteras against green ovals

Cricket Match Organise enough people to make up two teams and get them to pay a small amount to take part.

these ideas are not mine but a friend called google
