You probably already know this, but the NERC Bill is now law and RUPP's are now reclassified as Restricted Byway's. You cannot drive them and doing so illegally could cost you a fine and possible seizure of your vehicle!
Make sure of a lanes status before venturing on to it. Byways on Landranger are red crosses and dashes or green crosses in Explorer. RUPP's are red dashes and dots on Landranger and Green 'T's with every other one inverted on Explorer. It is worthwhile looking on OS 'Get a Map' too for your area, as all the new byways around here are already on there.

Sorry, but its true. The NERC Act came into play on 2nd May 2006.
