That said I'm pretty sure I've seen a one on the M62, although I'm not sure if it belongs to Greater Machester or West Yorks. I was wondering if it might be worth one of the organisers posting a question on http://www.askthe.police.uk/Content/@1.htm along the lines of 'are there any police forces that operate fronteras that would like to enter them in our world record attempt?'. Might be worth a try?
I've just posted the question to them and am awaiting reply

Groovy We still need to figure out where to meet up. I was thinking maybe Knutsford services would be ideal, but they have quite a small carpark so if there's loads of us it could get crowded.

I'll be traveling sat. am from Morecambe so anywhere around Sandbach (Big car park) Knutsford (smaller) Kieler or Stafford services if we are going that far south. Any ideas of which route we are planning.... M6 to the end or M6 then cross country 'A500 to M1?

Stopped by Sandbach today on my way down south. The car park seems about the same size as Knutsford but less busy. We could probably fit a few of us in there without too much trouble if there aren't too many caravans There's usually plenty of space at Keele, and it would give us a good hour or more of convoy time before we get down to Billing for some Of course, there is another more important question, namely who is going to be rubber duck?

Any one travelling South down the M6, North of Stoke can meet up with the Midlands Guys just off JUNCTION 15 of the M6. There is usually quite a few of us meet up there. Then We could call in at Junction 12 of the M6, The Spread Eagle Pub to collect a few more Midlands Members. WIll need a bit of planning, but I'm sure we can come together and Pull in off.

The place I have been talking about is Billing Aquadrome which is about 1/2 hour drive from the track. It's where the Landy Rally is every year and they said we can have the pitches at rally rate which is £13 p/n per pitch plus £4 if you want leccy
Hello all looking forward to meeting you all at Rockingham for those of you who are staying at Billing Aquadrome I'll see you there. Looks like me and my two lads will be fishing on Saturday Billing Aquadrome has fishing there and my lads love fishing as for me I will just have to put up with it for their sake cheers Nigel.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...'Wow! What a ride!

I thought that was J15? Nice big long laybys and a burger van so we can have a nice healthy breakfast I'm happy to meet pretty much anywhere along the way, but J15 sounds good. That way we could cut across the A50 and down the M1 to avoid birmingham (which has far too many roadworks going past it at the moment).
