Trooper from Caerphilly to Bristol

Postby KJA on Wed Feb 10, 2010 4:05 pm

I know this is a really long shot, but hey it's worth a try.

I've just won a Trooper on ebay, with the plan to stick the engine in my Fronty. The Trooper has no MoT or Tax but does run. Can anyone lend me either a set of trade plates (or is that a bit naughty?) or lend me a transporter trailer or dolly? I'm in Bradley Stoke, just of J16 of the M5. Not sure of the exact location of the Trooper but it's in Caerphilly somewhere.

Thanks
KJA

Might be able to help, is it a LWB or SWB Trooper?

It's a LWB. Had a quote for £100 from a local firm, but ideally don't want to be paying that much!!

Seller was getting a bit impatient so I forked out for a recovery firm to collect. Thread can be locked, ta.
