Well you see Andy, with me having the all hallowed 2.8 and you in the slightly old 2.3 I will have to follow or I might just get there first

Thats the way I've always gone. On the weekend the A500 / A50 will be MT.....

Im trying to get sorted to leave around 7.00am from Lancaster after Ive dropped the missus at work. Car should be packed Friday night less the fridge which will go in Saturday morning.

Are we doing BBQ and what we doing for BBQ meat? Can get the missus to get some from the local Bookers butchers? Can we arrange a "pot" for this BBQ at this late stage? :oh yer: :oh yer: :oh yer:
So much to do and so little time :oh yer: :oh yer: :oh yer:

Great weekend on the horizon now.... its THIS WEEKEND

if you have a spare £3.50, the M6 toll is the quickest option but as i'm a tight aerse I go A50 M1 when i'm coming back from my mum's

Hi All,
What are the chances of confirming a time and location for travelling down to Billing on Saturday morning?????
I am cleared to leave the wife and kids at home from about 9AM saturday and am willing to travel whichever way will have the most fronty's in convoy.
I am thinking, at the moment, that i will leave at 9AM and head down the A51 round the back of Crewe and meet the M6 at junction 16, i am easy for travelling down to junction 15 if that is the general agreement for a meeting place.

It's just a thought but i'm assuming that everyone will be on channel 8 on their way down, if this is the case and no meet point is agreed upon i guess i could just make my way down and listen to where everyone is and try to meet up that way.

At present i am ready to load the truck with a tent a BBQ and a shed load of beer...... Roll on Saturday.

Cheers for any replies
Dan.

We can all post when we intend to leave ( make some timing points to meet) then just before you actually leave throw out a post and check here to see who is on the way, the more North guys post first as they will leave earlier.

So just say Neil posts he is leaving right away say 0815 I know he will be passing the M58 Junction on the M6 about 0900. and me and Andy can meet him, then so on down the M6 ?

Talking of channels, I'm hoping to have a shiny new CB installed in time for the weekend. Haven't got a clue how to use it though, so if anyone knows of a good 'noobs guide to CB stuff' website I would be grateful :D
