Hi friends across the water. I am taking a trip across to Wicklow darn sarf at the weekend and thought well maybe's if there are any members in that area I could pop in and say hello.

Also, if anyone knows of any dirt cheap B&B's in that area and any points of interest close to, please let me know.

Ian

Eh up Ian,
i won't be over there.....   now i got a new job an all that.
But if your anywhere near Arklow or Avoca there is a nice area called "the meeting of the waters" i think. Worth a look also the Wicklow mountains on the way down have some fantastic views..... i once had to travel from the mid lands to Arklow and as i had all day put my faith in sat nav..... the views it gave me were absolutely stunning and you could see for miles quite literally so you knew if anything was coming about 10 mins before you met it.. god that made for some fun in a company passat which i was trying to kill at the time.

I defy anyone to go to the republic and not like the place it is heavenly and if i got 6 numbers i would buy a house with some land there tommorrow, the people are th enicest you will meet and the beer is sublime 8) 8) .

Not at all jealous
Cheers
Dan
