GREAT TRIP!

Had a total blast - and we absolutely have to do it more often.

hanks to all who came, especially the 2 chaps who did the mapwork.

The link below has all the pics. They are all re-sized for the forum so if anyone wants a full size original of a few then let me know.

Full collection: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v720/col...gal%20Aug%2008/

Only one minor sticky moment early on the first day when one of the T2's front wheels found a boggy hole and sank in - one quick wee pull from the Fronty and we were all good. Plain sailing (not a bad pun given the weather) thereafter.

We found a few good soggy patches - even got my carpet a bit wet - proper order!

Luckily someone had waders to check out any deep looking pools.

The reservoir which had overrun its banks and flooded the track was awesome!

Weather was fab on Sunday.

The last river run was totally cool.

Views were awesome.

My motor has been given a name - Brutus. Blame QC and Moogie. :)

No breakdowns, no injuries and lots of big grins. Like I said - we really do have to get out and do this more often.

Having problems getting pics to post here so here is a link to the original post with pics on our forum:

Be sure to keep an eye on this forum if you're in Ireland - lots of things happenning this season coming.
Cheers

That looks a nice trip out.

I'm concidering the possibility of a holiday, or long weekend over in Ireland. It can't be too costly to bring the Frontera over on the ferry, can it. A bit of a scenic drive, visit an RTV and a spot of laning all linked together with a couple of nights camping - could make the journey over worth while.

You'd be made very welcome Trugga - and if you come over for a Comp you might find a job marshalling! Kidding!

Anything I can do to help out let me know. If I have proper warning I can make sure I'm going to the RTV when you're over.
Cheers
