WE NEED PICCIES AND VIDS!!!!

Wotcha guys....

With the up and coming weekender I just thought I would share something that has been troubling me of late...

More and more of us have camera phones, infact I should think hardly any of us dont have one these days, yet we seem to have far less piccies being posted in the review threads. So carrying a camera really isnt a neccesity, although the pics the members take with their superdooper ones are brill...

A picture speaks a thousand words, so they say, so 10 pics speak 10,000...and really shows others the fun and atmostphere up the woods.

Please try and take more picsb and vids, and upload them and post them in the review threads,

not just of your truck either, but of other peoples to...

Pics people take of their own wagon kinda look a bit dead normally as often its just parked up, although often on 3 wheels....
these pics look much better with someone grinning at the wheel, and I think that catching someone elses glory moment is a good thing to do. 8)

I know it takes a bit of effort, and we grateful for those that do get snapping away...but it has been noticed that some people never seem to take pics and share them, which is a shame really, especially when others take the time and effort to photograph and post pics of their trucks doing sillyness!

Would be great to see more pics of the social side of stuff to in addition to the stuck or aerobatic trucks, I think the pink kettle still lurks somewhere if someone wants to snap a much greyer Kel modeling it again.

Not a moan, so please dont take offense anyone, its just that pics bring the reviews to life and are great to look back on, so it would be great if we could get more on here.

Heres hoping that we getting a cracking review from the weekender. 8) 8) 8)

Just a thought...

Every one that has a smart phone.. did you know that the phone is adding information to every picture that you take?

This can also include date, time and GPS location etc so anyone that looks at the photo can also find out when and where it was taken.

If you want this information removed, you will need to switch off or block the camera from accessing the GPS part of your phone for the camera.

Are you posting more than just a picture?

It is scary how technology can be exploited....
We have recently been looking into an app that uses the camera for facial recognition, when an adult holds the phone it will ask questions that are pretty vague and the sort friendly questions you would ask a child to be sociable.

When the child uses the app, the questions completely change and became very personal and could be considered "too intrusive".

I normally take video at the woods meets including in car mounted camera. I'll get as much as I can at the weekender and knock up a little vid.

Actually I was thinking a couple of nights ago about the image hosting thing and when I get a chance will look into knocking up an uploader for fog.
