Big thanks to Greg n Sal for yet another blinding weekender in the woods!

Was great to meet up with the usual suspects and some more new faces! New faces and new trucks of all shapes and sizes!

Finally got out n bout in the 2.8 to see just what she can do! And was pleasantly surprised to see just how capable she was at standard height on at's! Only having to be extracted twice! Also had an interesting couple of trips round the woods with the trailer to collect fire wood!

Once again thanks everyone and bring on the next one!

As above, thanks go to Greg and sally! After entering the destination into the satnav and it saying we were only 1hr and 17mins away we set off, anyways due to the m25, 3 and a half hours later we arrived.

Then found out exactly what was making a nasty metal grindy sound all the way there...no doubt some1 will post pics lol.

Then after a bit of a wobble with my replacement rad we made it back home a-ok...I thought it be a nice idea to show the girlfriend violets lane and to wash off the worst of the mud. Well nice idea it may have been but due to the lack of rain the river wasn't running so the water that was there stank, didn't stop it coming over the bonnet and filling the footwells tho lol. Oh and it only made the truck more muddy lol.

I look forward to the vids and pics :D

Was a fab weekend, as ever. Thanks to all that put up with Harvey. There was a bit of a love triangle going on with Harvey, Misty and Rosie, but they all got on really well, including Roxie.

Seems I was the only one that didnt get home on Sunday without the aid of a recovery truck  , and i wasnt even in my Fronty :( Luckily, Harvey was so pooped, I dont think he noticed how long we were in the car!! Now that I know what its gonna cost to fix, I will be calling in all the overtime I can

Where did you go then????

Gutted...see you should have bought the fronty instead of the panzer-cab...you would have been much nearer the woods when you broke down then and could have simply wandered back and put your tent back up.

A crackin weekender...big thanks to everyone who came, who helped and who made it the weekend it was...

A dodgy start but we got there in the end...

Big thanks to Rossco, Kylie, Andytats and Lisa and Jim for getting their early to help set up...

Thanks to Rob for err bringing a boat?

Thanks to Jim and Steve2stuck for cheffin

Thanks to stretch for the loan of the genny when ours failed and Andy for helping trying to fix it.

Thanks to the newbies who came, and joined in our fun...a big welcome goes out to David, Gareth Karen & their girls, and finally Lynal and Scott.
Father of 2stuck was in attendance showing his boy how to do it...and son of father of 2stuck bought a beard with him...and the rain maker made rain too!

Thanks to those who helped change my leaf spring. (not good with a hangover)

Thanks to the regulars who are the mainstay of these meets, and have supported this venture over the years..

Massive thanks to Sally for all her hard work all weekend, and to everyone for making Misty so welcome on her first woods outing,

I had a great time, once the stress subsided and I had a reheated kebab down me and a couple of stellas...managed to inflict some carnage on the BGL, snapped leaf and destroyed a CV joint...dunno how though

Conditions were great with Saturday starting a little damp, and drying out through the weekend...Great to see Lewis (aka Vidal) back in his vitara, and Henry is lloyds old sport...
Lewis and Gareth both did a fine job of removing rear bumpers!
Chris managed to rip the mounts of the rear axle of his li'll red Jimny..but limped home ok, to come back stronger another day.

Saturday night was the new friday night and a beer fest commenced after some pukka grub...a great evening, and Sally stayed to (so I had to behave)...

A real cracker, cant wait till the next meet and then the weekender in August! Gonna be brill!

Thanks again everyone... :drink: :drink: :drink:

Well, I had fun as usual, even if I was up and on my way home just as the Sunday new arrivals started turning up (cheers sis for your bloody complex schedule :axe: )

No offroading for Sophie, but I don't come along just for that, so thanks again to Sally & Greg for putting the show on, and for everyone who turned up for making it a very enjoyable couple of nights for me. Good to see some of the usual suspects again, and the new faces too, hope you'll be back next time.
Cheers to Ross for letting me shotgun as he took his 2.8 round the woods, and to Lisa for some truly excellent cakes

So yes, roll on the next one.

thanks to everyone especially Greg and Sal :D

felt like i was only there for a few hours but enough to need to go to garage for more fuel and more importantly make a little rain for everyone on Sunday - that roof is a curse

thanks also to greg for the new truck name, frontera: 2omb raider edition

praise where praise is due to to Gem - some brave driving

big well done to all who set up and tore down - i am a total slacker!

need to get rid of a few other committments to allow me to spend more time in the woods - will a 6 feet deep hole be enough for 3 people?

see you all soon - maybe next time Kel will take the Tranny for a ride

Thanks to Greg and Sall for another great weekend, nice to see some old faces as well as meet some new ones. Was nice to get there on friday for a change so we could help with setting up and again packing away on sunday. BIG thanks to Greg for helping out with my break pads and Andy for not getting the angle grinder out :P Thanks to for the drop links much appreciated.

Gemma has all the pictures we took and I think she has uploaded most of them to that facebook thing.

Dan looking in dismay as the cause of his 'reduced handbrake efficiency' soon came to light

Not to be out done Tara decided to throw one of her brake pads and munch the other ones into nothingness

I was lucky Greg and Andy were there with their redneck lathe
