Has anyone thought about organising a general meet somewhere? No greenlaning or off roading sites just a standard meet where members can stand around have a chat, give advice help sort easy problems wield a spanner around meet other members put names to faces etc. Would like to get any interest to see if worth doing , no dates as of yet but a weekend as i am free most weekends. Any interest in this? Maybe add your name if interested.

That sounds like the annual to me (or as RatCav says a SE meet up). Reading's doable. There are some who travel 100+miles for a picnic,
The off roading and laning that takes place is in addition to the meet
We have quite a few members who don't want to off road their trucks at meets but still attend.

I'm hoping to make the annual this year and I no longer have a truck
Traffic lights in London are just rough guidelines

142 miles door to picnic for me. Love the SE woods meets. Worth every penny.

Would you be thinking something mroe along the lines of the East / West Midlands meets that Horses and Bobby arrange?
Bit of a social thing for a few hours for a chinwag, general tyre kicking and maybe a little light spannering?

I'm sure it would be doable; just a case of picking a weekend and suitable location.
Heck, if we can get a few members along, maybe we can pressgang some of them to come along to the SE picnics, too.
