Do you have to be a member of Invicta 4x4 to get it at the reduced entry fee?
Have you been to Slindon before James? Some of us went down there in the summer when it was dry and still mud could be found. Apparently, it used to be an old sand quarry so you can image how hard the mud sets. We were knocking brick like blocks off our motors, so watch your rad if you go through silty water. You would need to flush out the rad before you drive home or the rad could turn into a brick.

James - it's a big site, I think about 150 acres so you'll probably find plenty of water free play areas if you do want to go.
There are some real extreme places to, one being named 'The Outback'. We done a wrongun venturing in there in the summer so defo a no no this time of year.
This is the link to the post when we went down there.

£30 per car. They had a burger hut selling stuff but no hosing facilities to flush the rad out should you need to.
Quite fancy it myself but I know it's wishful thinking cos I've got the pressure on to finish the decorating before I can go playing :(

What's 4x4live all about James?
Also, what's making your hose expand like that, as the head gasket gone?
Normal circumstances I might have had a look at Brands, but know I can't make it.
